NOTE!
* May Day (May 1st) and the Constitution Day (June 5th) are not official holidays in Denmark but many workplaces give the employees a half or a whole day off these days.
**In Sweden, Midsummer Eve is not an official holiday but it is almost always treated as official holidays by employers.
*** In both Denmark and Sweden Christmas Eve and New Years Eve is not considered an official holiday. It is therefore recognized as a normal work day, but many employers let their employees have a day off - without it having influence on their salary.
Some stores may be closed these days.
