* May Day (May 1st) and the Constitution Day (June 5th) are not official holidays in Denmark but many workplaces give the employees a half or a whole day off these days. In Sweden, Midsummer Eve (June 21st) is not an official holiday but it is almost always treated as official holidays by employers.
